A delegation of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) under the leadership of PIMA President Dr Azimuddin Wednesday met the Principal of Dow Medical College, Professor Amjad Siraj Memon. The delegation expressed concern over the unfortunate incident at the university. This unfortunate incident caused anguish and disappointment for students, their parents, university staff and other sections of society.

Professor Memon informed the delegation that an organization was allowed to hold a seminar inside Dow Medical College premises. The university administration allows seminars for the sake of education and knowledge. Inappropriate activities were carried out without the knowledge of the administration, which the college administration has strictly taken notice of. The principal said that the Dow administration strongly condemned the act and reiterated that a space was provided for information leaflets and education materials only.
